VIVIAN JOANNE ZOLONDEK (nee WOLCHUK) 1952 - 2007 It is with deep sadness, the family announces the sudden passing of Vivian Zolondek on December 26, 2007 at the Brandon Regional Hospital with her family at her side. Vivian was born in Gimli, Manitoba and raised in Winnipeg Beach where she attended elementary school. She then went on to attend high school in Gimli and psychiatric nursing in Portage La Prairie. Viv enjoyed a career of over 30 years in this field and was still employed at the Health Sciences Centre. Vivian spent countless hours cross-stitching keepsakes for family and friends. Her love of dogs was evident by her many four legged companions, of these Nipper, Nava and Chief are still waiting for her to come home. Viv was predeceased by her mother Doris and brother John. She leaves to mourn her passing the love of her life Lawrence (Lucky), father Clarence (C.J.) Wolchuk, sister Wanda (Kris) Kardal, nephews Ryan, Curtis and Mitchel Kardal. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. Memorial service will be held on Monday, December 31, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home.
