ROBERT(BOB) MARTIN MACKAY In loving memory of our father who left us peacefully on December 27, 2007, aged 70, born in Winnipeg, MB, grew up in the Riverview area, formally lived in Calgary from 1980 to 1993 when he moved back to bring our mother near us in her last few months. Robert will be sadly missed by his children, Debra Woods (Brian), Mona MacKay (Don) and Brenda Comber (Ian); his grandchildren Stephanie, Zachary, Evan, Erin, Grant; his brother Ian Mackay of Calgary; his sister Margaret MacKay Wilson of Winnipeg, numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. Bob was predeceased by his wife Aline (nee Brais), his parents Annie (Wissie) and John (Jack) MacKay and his nephew John Wilson. Bob was self-employed since 1992, previously worked for TIP and Inter-City Truck Lines where he made numerous friends. He was a former member of the Moose in Calgary and the Legion here in Winnipeg. At the request of our father, he did not wish for a service; he will be cremated with interment following at a later date. In lieu of flowers, if friends and family so desire, donations may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation or the Grace Hospice where he resided. The family would like to thank the staff at Riverview Nursing Home and Grace Hospice for looking after their father/brother these last months with great care and compassion.
