PETER KLIMCHUK March 24, 1935 - December 27, 2007 Suddenly, after a brief battle with cancer, Peter passed away at his home in Hodgson, MB. He was predeceased by his wife Donna in September 2007, his parents Mike and Kaye, brothers, Joe, Nick and Stanley. He is survived by his son Jim (Bev), daughter Lori (John), sons, Dale and Wayne, granddaughters, Crystal, Jodi, Rachelle, Brittany, and Jenna, one great- grandson Riley, his sister Jean and brothers, Bill, Steve, and Alex. Dad was born on March 24, 1935, in Fisher Branch, MB. He married Donna Ross on October 11, 1958, and they settled and raised their family in Stony Mountain. Dad was an extremely hard worker and was employed by Camco for 30 years and held several side jobs from stuccoing houses to fixing appliances. Peter retired in 1990 and moved back to Hodgson, MB, where he fulfilled his passion for farming. Dad was known for his many colorful adventures throughout the years and anyone that knew him would have a story to tell. Dad also enjoyed fishing and hunting camp with the boys. He was known for his green thumb and sense of humor. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. A family interment will be held at a later date.
