INGE MARGARETE ALBRECHT Peacefully on Tuesday, December 25, 2007, following a brief illness, Inge Albrecht passed away at her residence at 86 years of age. Inge is survived by her husband of 59 years, Helmut; son Manfred (Hilma) Albrecht; daughter Sabine Albrecht; grandsons Andre and Henry as well as numerous relatives in Germany. Inge came to Canada in 1976 and began working at the Winnipeg Inn, now known as the Fairmont. Inge was a very active woman who loved to spend time with her family. She was an excellent cook and loved to travel, making many trips throughout Canada and the United States. Cremation has taken place and there will be a service of remembrance held at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook Street, at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 2, 2008. Interment will be in Brookside Cemetery. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the 5th floor St. Boniface Hospital and of the 2nd floor at the Concordia Hospital for their excellent care and compassion.
