AGNES DEURBROUCK (nee VINCENT) Peacefully, surrounded by her family, Agnes passed away at the age of 68 on December 26, 2007, at the Victoria Hospital. Predeceased by her parents Alphonse and Eugenie Vincent; two brothers, Alcide 1941, Marcel 1998; brother-in-law Roger Beaudette. She leaves to mourn her passing her beloved husband of 40 years, Edouard; her sons, Vincent (Tammy), Glen (Maggie), their children, Madison and Gabriel; her siblings, Albert (Anita) of Kamloops, BC, Hector, Hélène Beaudette, Dorothée Dupuis, Maurice (Brenda), all of Winnipeg, Jean M. (Ginette) of St. Georges, MB, Yves (Johanne) of Ste Martine, PQ, and sister-in-law Anita Vincent of Powerview, MB, in-laws and numerous nieces and nephews. Agnes was born on September 5, 1939. She moved to Winnipeg in 1960, where she worked at the Municipal Hospital for nine years. After her boys were in school, she worked at Woolco-Walmart and retired in 1986. After retirement, she spent many hours doing crafts and sewing. She enjoyed gardening, and always had a nice backyard that was surrounded by flowers. Agnes was always a happy person; she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and was always ready to give of herself. Her latter years were spent enjoying her grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 2, 2008, at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). Interment will take place in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens with Father Fred Olds officiating. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the reception centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Society.
