Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNA R. SCHLUTER Peacefully on Thursday, December 27, 2007 at the Tudor House in Selkirk, Anna passed away at the age of 87 years. Born in the Netherlands on December 31, 1919, she came to Canada in 1951, eventually settling in Selkirk. Anna was predeceased by her husband, William (Bill) of 53 years in 1997. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughter Dien Anderson and sons John Schluter of Selkirk and Siert (Mary) Schluter of Winnipeg; grandchildren Craig (Debbie), Laurie (Diane), Randy, Lisa (Perry), Lynda (Mark), Bill (Kathy), Stephen (Lindsay), Marissa and 15 great-grandchildren. Anna worked in numerous occupations, finishing her career with 23 years at the Selkirk Mental Health Centre. In retirement, she took up oil painting, which she had wanted to do all her life and demonstrated great talent. Anna's family was very important to her. She was a very loving and giving person. Special thank you to Dr's Lindenschmidt and Demsas and the staff at Tudor House. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at Knox Presbyterian Church on Eveline St., at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
