Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEILEEN GRAHAM Eileen Graham died December 29, 2007. She was born in Carman, Manitoba on February 13, 1917 to Mabel and Tom Graham. She is predeceased by her parents and Aunts and Uncles. Eileen was raised on her parent's farm in Carman and always enjoyed nature's beauty. Eileen attended the Central School South of Carman. Eileen moved to Winnipeg to complete her senior matriculation schooling at Gordon Bell High School. Eileen entered nurses training at the St. Boniface Hospital where she successfully obtained her R.N. diploma. She then took more training in Ann Arbor, Michigan and then worked in California for many years. Eileen returned to Winnipeg due to her parents' failing health and became re-involved with many of her friends and family within the Carman region. While living in Winnipeg, Eileen worked at the Canadian Red Cross Manitoba Division, the Rehabilitation Centre and the Princess Elizabeth Hospital until she retired. She enjoyed living in the St. Vital area of Winnipeg for 35 years and most recently moved to the Metropolitan Kiwanis Courts in 2004. She leaves cousins, Dorothy Edmonds from Edmonton and Bob Crossin from Idaho and several distant cousins. Special friends she left are Gladys Bruce and Wally Robertson from Carman, Doreen Work from Winnipeg and Hazel and Richard Stack from White Rock, BC. Cremation has taken place. Interment and a service to celebrate Eileen's life will be held at a later date. We would like to thank the staff at the Metropolitan Kiwanis Courts and 3North at the Grace Hospital for their friendship and care for Eileen.
