PETER CORNELIS PETERS April 8, 1930 December 28, 2007 We held Peter's hand as he quietly passed away on Friday, December 28, 2007 in the warm surroundings of the Grace Hospice. Throughout his brief illness he maintained his dignity and his wonderful sense of humour. Peter also took time to share his wisdom and offer guidance about living life to its fullest. A warm and dedicated family man, he was predeceased by his wife Johanna in 2002 and will be missed by his three children, Jo-Anne Hanaway (Tom Vatrt), Sam Peters and Peter Jr. (Leona) Peters. He shared a special relationship with his four grandchildren, Steven Isfeld, Sarah Isfeld, Jordan Hanaway and Brandon Peters. He will also be missed by his special friend, Edith Wassenaar and her family, as well as his sister Thea Ferrari, her family and numerous relatives in the Netherlands. We would like you to share in the celebration of Peter's life on Thursday, January 3, 2008 at 1:30 p.m., in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald St. During his stay at the St. Boniface Hospital, St. Boniface Palliative Care, and the Grace Hospice, Peter was often touched by the genuine caring and kindness of those who took care of him.
