MARY ADELE DELARONDE Peacefully on December 29, 2007, Mary passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 76. Mary is survived by sons Ernie (Barbara), Daniel (Andrea), John (Debbie), Ervin (Judy), Eugene, Robert (Margerette), Arthur and Christopher (Sarah); daughters Jeannie (Howard), Lucie, Mary-Jane (Andrew) and Norma-Jean (Colin); 38 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren; sisters Marie, Irene and Agnes; brother Joseph; former daughters-in-law Diane, Merle and Samantha; best friend Louise, friends Lady Joan, Marie, Jim, Stanley and Irene. She was predeceased by husband Norman; children Maryanne, Douglas, Benjamin and Calvin; great-grandchildren Cody and Dominic; father Arsene and mother Virginia; father-in-law Daniel and mother-in-law Lizzie; brother Dominic. Mary Adele Delaronde was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and she loved all her family. She was also devoted to her Catholic upbringing and prayed on a daily basis for all her family and friends. Her strength, commitment and love to all who entered her household was always unwavering. She was the type of person who always thought of others before herself. If love can be defined, then you would see her name beside the word love in the dictionary. God had an angel on earth and he has now called her home and she no longer has to endure the pain and suffering she went through. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Seven Oaks Hospital for their care and compassion. Public visitation will be on Thursday, January 3 from 11:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m. (noon) at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street with a Funeral Service beginning at noon with Father Robert Bernardin presiding.
