WILLIAM (BILL) NASTIUK 1923 - 2007 With great sadness the Family announces the passing of William (Bill) Nastiuk on December 31, 2007. Bill leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife, Kathleen of 57 years, daughters Marilyn (Paul) Roy and Teresa (Brian) Doll. He leaves behind his seven grandchildren and two great- grandsons. Also survived by sisters, Dorothy Harrow, Mary (Peter) Zadorozny, and Jean (Roy) Blanchard, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeased by his parents, Anna and John Nastiuk, brother Nick, sister-in-law Betty Nastiuk and brother-in-law Stan Harrow. He was born and raised on the farm in Sundown, MB and moved to Winnipeg in 1957. In Winnipeg he began his 29 year career at Air Canada, retiring in 1985. The Family wishes to thank the staff of the Palliative Care for their compassion and kindness. Special thanks to Michael. Prayers will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 4, 2008 at Glen Eden Funeral Home. Funeral service will also be held at Glen Eden on Saturday, January 5, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the WRHA Palliative Care Program or to CancerCare Manitoba.
