ABEL (BILL) WARR August 22, 1922 December 29, 2007 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Bill Warr on Saturday, December 29, 2007 at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 85 years. He served his country honourably as a member of Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry. Bill leaves to mourn; his daughter Cori (Terry), and her mom Marge; his sister Myrtle Lilley; brother-in-law Wally (Rolande), David (Heather) Mestdagh. He was predeceased by his father William and his mother Florence; his sisters, Nora Warr, Lily Parkes-Burrows, Pearl LaGrou, and Kathleen Darbyson; his brothers Cain and Thomas, and his beloved Annie. The family would like to extend a warm and heartfelt thanks to Wally for his generous help and care, which enabled Bill to stay in his home with his beloved pets. In keeping with Bill's wishes, cremation has taken place, and a memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Friday, January 4, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street.
