I remember little Betty Ann loved chocolates too and had pimples so bad ha ha. We both loved chocolates! We got pimples before we got breasts!! Stanley was so good to his mum-in-law. He always brought special soups he concocted over his "witches caldron"! Oh how we used to laugh then. Aunt Lily would give us a down right good whoopin' until we all screamed "marmie!" Which was French for teacher! Lily would pull out her seamstress books and read us sewing stories to "teach" us a lesson until the break of day! How I miss those wonderful days! I miss you, Aunt Lily. I miss your wrinkled cheeks and wobbly little jaw that shook when you got mad! No wonder! Betty Ann stayed out past her curfew many a time with Stan while they hung around the lake casting spells on everyone with their magic books. It was a "spooky halloween" that year at Oak Lake. Oh the memories! I miss our sweet Aunt Lily. Forever in our hearts and memories xoxox - Posted by: Frieda Maksymchuk (Cousin) on: Aug 26, 2018
