JOHN BENJAMIN SKINNER On Tuesday, January 1, 2008 with his family at his side, John Skinner aged 63 years of Teulon, MB, passed away at the Health Sciences Centre, Winnipeg. Survived by his loving wife Sandy; four children, Jennifer (Jason), Rod (Kim), Scott (Angele), Sherry (Mike); four grandchildren, McKay, Matheson, Olivia, Abigail; sister Donna (Bruce) Bond; niece Lesley Bond; brother Doug (Bonnie); mother-in-law Margaret Charison; sister-in-law Sherry (Terry), Linda (Fred); brother-in-law Curtis (June). He is also survived by nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his parents Ben and Kathleen Skinner, nephew Clair Bond and father-in-law Stan Charison. John was born and raised in Teulon and farmed in the area all of his life. John graduated from University as an Agricultural Engineer in 1967 and farmed with his Dad and later with his sons. John loved flying, fishing, hockey, golfing and hunting. He also had a great love of animals. He spent as much time out at his cabin as he could. He was very dedicated to his wife, children and grandchildren, all of whom he was known as Papa. Prayers will be held on Thursday, January 3 at 7:30 p.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Teulon. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 4 at 1:00 p.m. at Teulon Rockwood Hall. Rev. Patricia Baker will officiate. If friends so desire memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Blood Services, Teulon Hunter Memorial Hospital Foundation or the Teulon United Church. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Teulon in care of arrangements.
