GRACE ALICE MARGARET YOUNG (nee SPENDER) December 21, 1923 - January 1, 2008 With great sadness the family announces the passing of Grace, our mother, at the age of 84. Mother was born in Lewisham, England, coming to Canada as a child. Predeceased by her parents, Esther and William Spender, brother Edward, and husband Earle. Mom and Dad celebrated their 50 year anniversary on May 3, 1994. Earle passed away June 14, 1994. Loving mother to Barry Young (Pam), Gail Ross (Ted), and Lorraine Goertzen (Riley). Grandma to Tracey, Kerry, Kelley, David, Allison, Joy, Krista, Victoria and James. Great-Grandma to Coral, Keegan, Danyon, Marshal, Kinzey, Abigail, Nikolas, Colby, Kyle, Tabitha, Alex, Deryk, Wesley, Robin, Stephanie, Tristin and many cousins in England and Canada. Grace was a member of Jubilee Chapter #27 O.E.S. and the ladies auxiliary of the Fort Garry Legion. Cremation has taken place, and as Grace wished, there will be no service.
