GERALDINE WARTHE On December 30, 2007, and after a lengthy illness, our dear Jerry left us to join her precious predeceased Aunts Pauline and Lola and Uncle Alec Ribneck. She will be missed by her cousins, especially Jay and Nancy Brunwin (Brandi and Tiffany) and many friends especially Evelyn and Aurele Bourbonniere. A teacher, Jerry chose to use her talents as an administrative assistant to the department head of medicine at St. Boniface General Hospital. She was a friend to her co-workers, a reliable assistant to the medical staff and a valuable caring mentor to the students. She was known and loved by many children as Auntie Jerry. She had a deep affection for animals, particularly cats. Jerry enjoyed extensive travel and sports. Her family and friends were her greatest source of pleasure. We thank the C.D.2 staff at Riverview Health Centre for their excellent care and compassion. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 6, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. in Riverview Health Centre, 1 Morley Avenue. The Coutu family in care of arrangements: E.J. COUTU CO.
