MARIA DO SERRO On Tuesday, January 1, 2008 Mrs. Maria Do Serro passed away peacefully at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 91 years. Left to mourn are two daughters, Natalie Peterson and Custodia Barras (Marcerlino); Grandchildren, Jody Hessell (Darren), Jennifer Warkentin (Jeff), Lucy Pozzobon (John), Marcel Barras (Cathy); Great-grandchildren, Laura, Brittney, Jordan, John, Kevin, Michael, Matthew and Taylor; brother-in-law Custodio Do Serro (Ludovina); nieces and nephews Lionilde, Florival, Stephanie, Ludovina, Victor and Antonio in Winnipeg, also many family in Portugal Prayers were held at Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd. on Sunday, January 6 at 7:30 p.m. Monsignor M. Comeault officiant. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin St. on Monday, January 7, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. with Monsignor M. Comeault celebrant.
