Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryENID LORRAINE CHRISTIE (nee KELLY) Peacefully, on Monday, December 31, 2007, Enid died at Riverview Health Centre at the age of 84 years. Enid will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Colleen, son David (Patricia) and grandchildren Diane, Michael (Barb), James (Candy) and Chris (Robyn). She will be sadly missed by her sisters Joan and Lois. Also surviving her are daughter Jacqueline, seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Harry in 1996 and by sister Marguerite and brother Tom. Enid was a generous and loving person who enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, playing cards and bowling. She had an excellent sense of humour and a special place in her heart for children. She enjoyed travelling with friends and family, especially to England. One of the highlights of her life was helping to build a cottage at Grindstone Park on Lake Winnipeg together with husband Harry, sister Joan and brother-in-law Jim Epps and friends Vic and Sheila Dumore. Many of her happiest summers were spent at the lake. The family would like to thank the staff on 2 West at Riverview for the competent and compassionate way they cared for Mom. In accordance with Enid's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service. Instead, friends and family are invited to come by 6 Garnet Bay on Sunday, January 6, 2008, between 1:00 and 4:00 p.m. to share memories and offer condolences.
