MYRTLE (MOLLY) BELL Peacefully surrounded by her family, Myrtle passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2008, at the age of 83 years. Leaving to treasure her memories are daughter Georgina, sons Gerald (Marcia), Michael (Chris), Keith (Pat), George (Bonnie); grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother Albert Keeble, sisters Doris Milton and Madge Ward, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband George, her parents, her sisters Peggy, Joyce and brothers Leonard and Ron. Myrtle was born in Wetheringsett-Cum-Brockford, England, on April 22, 1924. She joined the Army in June of 1941 where she met George. They married on December 25, 1943, and came to Canada in 1946. Myrtle was employed at the Misericordia Hospital until her retirement. The family wishes to thank Brian from Home Care for his kindness, compassion and care of our mother and also Dr. Finlayson and the staff of 5th floor, Unit 1 at Seven Oaks Hospital. Memorial service will be held at Glen Eden Funeral Home on Monday, January 7, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102 - 310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6, or the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, MB R3G 9Z9.
