ROSE-MARIE DELORME (nee GUENETTE) December 6, 1948 - January 3, 2008 Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, with her family at her side, Rose-Marie passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2008, at the age of 60 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 39 years, Léo; and daughters, Jo-Anne (Chris Payne), Louise (Helder) Serpa and her precious grandchildren, Laura, Brooke, Cameron and Joshua. Also left to cherish her memory are brothers, Gilbert, Gerry (Doris), Rolly (Lucille); sisters, Léa Thibert, Rose-Aimée; sisters-in-law, Doreen and Jocelyne; brother-in-law, Maurice Manaigre, as well as her husband's family, numerous nephews, nieces, family and friends. Marie was predeceased by parents, Alfred and Flore; sisters, Juliette (Donat Delorme), Lynne (Claude Poirier), Annette (Roger Dupas), Denise Manaigre; brothers, Richard, Robert and George; brothers-in-law, Eddy Thibert and Ed Cure. The most important thing in Marie's life has always been family. A generous and loving person, she always placed other people's well-being ahead of her own. Her positive outlook kept her strong through many trials in life. We will always remember her as thoughtful woman, having deep inner strength and faith, and having such great love for her cherished grandchildren. Our deepest gratitude to the nurses and staff on the St. Boniface 4AS wing for the loving care and compassion they showed both Marie and her family. Thank you. Also, sincere thanks to family and friends for their help and support with visits and prayers during this difficult time. A special thanks to Rose-Marie's twin sister, Rose-Aimée, sister-in-law Lucette Parent and cousin Jocelyn Jaremowich . Your visits always cheered her up, and you were there with support when she needed it most. Prayers will be held on Monday, January 7, 2008, at 7:00 p.m. at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 DesMeurons Street. Funeral mass will take place on Tuesday, January 8, 2008, at 10:30 a.m. at Précieux-Sang Roman Catholic Church, 200 Kenny Street. Flowers gratefully declined.
