HELEN JESTADT Peacefully on December 24, 2007, Helen passed away at the Holy Family Nursing Home at the age of 104. Helen is survived by her son Raymond (Leona); grandchildren, Raymond, Richard and Diane Jestadt, Karen and Russell Blunderfield; two great-grandchildren; niece Madeline Asham and numerous relatives. She was predeceased by her husband John; sister Marie, Elizabeth and Barbara; brothers, William and John. Helen loved gardening and enjoyed canning the produce from her yard. She resided in her own residence until 100 years old. Special thanks to the nursing staff on St. Paul's unit for their care and compassion. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 11 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street with Rev. Fr. Kevin J. Smith officiating. A private family interment will take place. Pallbearers will be Ray, Raymond and Richard Jestadt and Joe Neuman. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Helen's memory to CancerCare Manitoba. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
