OLIVE ELEANOR CAMPBELL ( nee JAMES ) Peacefully, on January 4, 2008 at the St. Boniface Hospital, our cherished mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Olive Campbell passed away at age 79 years. Olive leaves to mourn and cherish her memory her children, daughter, Pat Campbell; sons Donald (Lynda) and Collin (Louise); six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; her sister Cathy and many nieces and nephews. She predeceased by her husband Donald (1987) and her son John. A wonderful cook and baker, Olive's baking was anticipated and enjoyed by many, especially her pastries. The family would like to extend their appreciation to Dr. Eschun and the staff of 5E, St. Boniface Hospital, for their care and compassion. Funeral service to be held on Tuesday, January 8 at 7:00 p.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel 1800 Day Street with Deacon Theresa Campbell officiating. In lieu of flowers, if friends so wish, memorial donations may be made to Cancer Care Manitoba. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
