JOHN S. MOLLISH Peacefully on Tuesday, January 2, 2008 at the age of 93, John who was also known as Jack passed away at the Health Sciences Center. He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 64 years Lea; sisters, Nellie Myslowchuk, Bena Marko and Anna Kostenuk; brother-in-law Aimé (Lorette) Loiselle; sister-in-law Stella Klassen and several cousins, nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Stefan and Catherine; sister Mary Boychuk; brothers, Nick and Walter and his beloved daughter Joanne in 2006. John was born in Poplar Park, MB. All his life, he took great pride in his carpentry work. With his exceptional carpentry skills and in his spare time, he built his cottage at Winnipeg Beach, where the family spent many happy summers. He also fixed garages, fences and even helped fixed bicycles for the kids in the neighborhood. For many years he was employed by CPR and later worked for the government at Minto Armouries until his retirement. Jack was a hard working, independent, gentle man with a strong sense of dedication to his wife and daughter. He will be missed. A special thanks to the staff at Health Sciences Centre for their kindness and care. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home with reception to follow.
