Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCONNIE BARNHART Peacefully, on Friday, January 4, 2008 Connie Barnhart of Stonewall and formerly of Manitou, MB passed away at the Stonewall Hospital. Connie is survived by husband Charles; daughter Carole Jean (Kevin) Good; four grandchildren, Trevor, Kayla, Derrick, and Tyler. Survived also by Aunt Mary; brother Garry, dear cousins, Warren and family; Sharon (Brian) and their family Michael (Kristy) and Shauna; as well as aunts, uncles and many cousins and extended family. Connie was born on June 1, 1940 at Kalieda, MB. She lived south of Kalieda with her parents, Doris and Larry Moloney and brother Garry until she married Charlie Barnhart on October 4, 1958 and moved to Windygates where they farmed. In 1967 they moved to a farm south of Manitou where they lived until 1986 when they gave up farming and moved to Manitou. She took her nurses aide course in 1984 and started working at Pembina Manitou Hospital. She retired from there in 2003 and made a move to Stonewall to be closer to her grandchildren. She spent her life caring for others and loved every minute of it. Her grandchildren were the light of her life and treasured the moments of baking their favorite treats and mending their clothes. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 9 at 11:00 a.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, 433 Main St., Stonewall. Interment will take place in the Stonewall Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3L 0K6. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements.
