KATHERINE (KAY) BAERG February 2, 1920 January 3, 2008-01-04 It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden but peaceful passing of Kay Baerg on January 3, 2008 into the presence of her Lord and Saviour. She joins her parents, brother Bill and sister Mary, with their spouses, who have all predeceased her. Kay leaves to treasure her memory her husband of 63 years Benj; her children, Sharon (Henry), Marvin (Louise) and Louise (Ken), as well as eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Viewing will take place at 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street. A celebration of Kay's life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at Eastview Community Church, 3500 DeVries Ave. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, donations in honour of Kay may be made to Family Life Network, 225 Riverton Ave., Winnipeg R2L 0N1.
