ELIZABETH (BETTY) MARKWELL (nee HOLLETT) It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Elizabeth (Betty) Markwell. After a short illness, at the age of 77 years old on January 5, 2008, our Lord asked Elizabeth to join Him in Heaven with Him and her beloved husband Wilfred who predeceased her in 1988. Elizabeth was adored by her family and friends as she adored them and will be dearly missed by her son David; daughters Sharon and Linda as well as grandchildren; great-grandchildren; many relatives and friends. All who knew her loved her and were lucky to have known such a wonderful woman. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff who provided such wonderful care and support. Their efforts are very much appreciated. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, January 8 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street at Inkster. A private family interment will follow in Brookside Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her loving husband. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Betty's memory to CancerCare Manitoba. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
