THERESA JENNINGS (FORMERLY GORRICK, nee CANCILLA) July 15, 1923 - December 31 , 2007 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, granny, sister and friend on December 31, 2007. Theresa died peacefully at her home at the age of 84 years. Theresa is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Janis and Gordon Setka of Kamloops, BC; her seven grandchildren, Krista and Michael Marsten of Calgary, Alberta, Kyle Schmidt, Alysha Setka, Josh Setka, Joel Setka and Jeremy Setka all of Kamloops, BC, her sister Mary Bodner of London, Ontario and two nieces Suzanne Bodner of Kingston, Ontario and Debra Bodner of Vancouver, BC. Theresa was predeceased by her husbands, William Gorrick and Earl Jennings; her sister and brother-in-law Jennie and James Lambert; brother-in-law Michael Bodner, and her mother and father Josephine and Daniel Cancilla. Theresa lived her whole life in Winnipeg, was a homemaker and worked at the downtown Eaton's store in the sewing and notions department until her retirement. Once retired, Theresa did some travelling and loved her weekly bowling league. The most important thing about Theresa was her unconditional love for her family, gentle spirit and forgiveness, zest for life, sense of humour and extreme generosity. Theresa loved word searches, going to the casino, bowling and visiting with family and friends. A celebration of Theresa's life will be held at Klassen Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
