WILLIAM FLETCHER KINNIBURGH Peacefully on January 5, 2008, William (Bill) passed away at Meadowood Manor Personal Care Home at the age of 94. Bill will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Joan of 45 years; daughters, Tannis (Bill Gordon), Karen (Alan Gilchrist), sons Craig and Greg (Mary); his grandchildren, Daniel, Lee, Quinn, Kira, Melanie, and Christopher and his many friends at Kirchoff Gardens. Bill was predeceased by his first wife, Violet in 1957,his son Brian in 1992, his three brothers and one sister. Bill worked for the CP Express for 38 years. After his retirement, he built a cottage at Wanasing on Lake Winnipeg where he shared many happy times with his children and grandchildren. Bill loved to curl and play golf with the highlight being golfing at Spyglass Hill in California. Bill was a very kind hearted, gentle spirited may who was always willing to help family and friends. He will be deeply missed. Memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). Interment will follow in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family would like to thank the staff at Meadowood Manor Personal Care Home for their friendship and loving care.
