LESLIE HOWARD JOHNSON Aged 76 of Tustin passed away on December 9, 2007 from pancreatic and liver cancer. Burial followed at Santa Anna Cemetery. Survived by his wife Lorraine Johnson; brother Gerald Johnson, sisters Dorothy Christie and Isabel McDennon; sons Jack and Brent Johnson, daughter Janis Mainwaring, nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all. Les was born in West Kildonan, son of John and Freda Johnson of Jefferson Avenue. He had two sisters and three brothers. He spent his formative years on Bannerman Ave. and attended Luxton School. He married Lorraine Hagyard (from LaRiviere) in 1957 and shortly thereafter moved to California. He was employed by St. Judes Heritage Health until his retirement in 2006. He resided in Tustin, California. Les returned to Winnipeg for summer vacation and renewed friendships most summers and attended the Luxton School Reunion last year. Les was a good father, husband and a loyal friend. He will not be forgotten.
