JOSE PEREIRA DOS SANTOS Peacefully on January 5, 2008 at his residence, José, beloved husband of Tina, passed away at the age of 61 years. Besides his loving wife he is survived by his mother Maria Eugénia; sons, Marc, Marco (Mandy), daughter Natacha; stepdaughters, Carla (Costa) and Cláudia (Dionisio); grand-children, Ishau, Amanda Danzel and Darien; brothers and sisters, Maria da Conceiçao (Joseph), Antonio (Inês), Manuel (Maria), Maria de Fátima, and Mário (Isabel); sisters-in-law, Zia (Smith) and Ofélia (Toi) and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Marcolino Matias in 2003. José immigrated to Canada in 1963 and lived in Thompson and Winnipeg, Manitoba. The family would like to thank the following: Dr. Fuzeta, Dr. Czaykowski and his assistant Denise, Dr. Stimpson and his assistant Mona, Palliative Care and nurse Alma. Prayers will be said on Wednesday, January 9 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street at Inkster. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 10, at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin St. N with Rev. Msgr. Maurice Comeault, P.H. as Celebrant. If friends do desire, donations may be made in José's memory to CancerCare Manitoba, 1160 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
