She was predeceased by her husband David B. McIntosh; parents Edith and Stanley Sellar; brothers, Stanley John and H. Elmar Sellar. Delores enjoyed her last few years in her home in the Sturgeon Creek Retirement Residence. She especially enjoyed her lunches out with her Red Hat Group. In her earlier and better years Delores enjoyed traveling and the many other activities she was involved with. On Saturday, January 12, 2008 Delores' funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. in the Silver Heights United Church, 199 Garrioch Avenue, (corner of Ness Avenue and Mount Royal Road). The family would like to thank the Home Care at Sturgeon Creek Retirement Residence who took very good care of Delores. God bless you all. In lieu of flowers donations in Delores' memory may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3A 1P6, or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald Street, Suite 200, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6. Mum, you will be in our hearts forever. When I Must Leave You When I must leave you for a little while, Please do not grieve and shed wild tears And hug your sorrow to you through the years, But start out bravely with a gallant smile, And for my sake and in my name Live on and do all things the same. Feed not your loneliness on empty days, But fill each waking hour in useful ways; Reach out your hand in comfort and in cheer And I in turn will comfort you And hold you near; And never, never be afraid to die For I am waiting for you in the sky!
