GERALDINE OLIVE CLARKIN Geraldine (Gerry) Clarkin passed away at Misericordia Place on Tuesday, January 8, 2008. She was the last survivor of the Clarkin family as her sister Kathleen (Kaye) passed away on January 23, 2005. She is survived by many special and loved cousins in various parts of Canada and the United States. She will be particularly and poignantly missed by her cousin Patricia McInnis of Winnipeg. Gerry was born in Margaret, Manitoba, the daughter of Marjorie and Eugene Clarkin and granddaughter of Catherine and Daniel Fitzpatrick who were early pioneers of the Margaret district. Gerry also lived in Deloraine and Sanford, Manitoba. Gerry worked for many years for Clarkson, Gordon Co., Chartered Accountants. Special thanks to all the staff at the Misericordia for their kindness and caring. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 12 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Brebeuf Church, 1707 St. John Brebeuf Place, with Msgr. Louis McCloskey officiating. Interment will be in the family plot in St. Mary's Cemetery. If friends desire, donations may be made in Kaye and Gerry's memory to the St. John Brebeuf School Bursary Fund.
