WILLIAM (BILL) AUMULLER We are saddened to announce the passing of Bill Aumuller in the early morning of Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at the Deer Lodge Centre. Bill was born on St. Patrick's Day, March 17, 1935 in Winnipeg. He was predeceased by his parents, Minnie and Jack Aumuller and by his brother Leo. He will be sadly missed by his sister Alice McGarva and her husband Bill and extended family who visited him regularly over the five years that Bill resided at Deer Lodge. We had lots of good times at Deer Lodge's Chad's Lounge with Bill, Don, Dorothy, Sheldon and others. Bill had worked for many years at Bristol Aerospace. He loved bowling, curling and golfing at Kildonan Golf Course. His favorite place to go was the Silver Heights restaurant where most of the staff knew him well. For many years he enjoyed snowmobiling and riding his ATV on his parent's farm near Anola. We would like to thank all the staff and volunteers at Deer Lodge for their care and understanding during Bill's five plus years on 4 West. Also thanks to all the friendly volunteers who made Chad's such a wonderful place to visit Bill. Rest in peace Bill, you were a special person, we love you and you'll be missed. A Memorial Service for Bill will be held on Monday, January 14, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Deer Lodge Centre, 2109 Portage Avenue (In the Chapel, 2nd floor). A private interment will be held in Green Acres Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Bill's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB. R3L 0L6, Deer Lodge Centre, 2109 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB. R3J 0L3, or a charity of choice.
