PERSEVERANDA (PERSY) CATRIS 1947 - 2008 Passed away peacefully in the early morning on Monday, January 7, 2008. Persy was very strong and courageous, generous, humorous, bubbly, always had a smile on her face, always the life of the party, loved singing karaoke, fishing, bowling, cooking, and hanging out with family and friends. Persy was the mother of Kimberly Gavina and Godmother to Carol Banayos. She will be missed by the Lleses Family (Family in the Philippines, Urbano, Marita, Basilio, Macrina, Perpetua, Rizalito, Marilou, David, Jean, Leo and Urbano Jr.), Smilianov Family (Salvka and Serafin) Banayos Family (Lucita, Pat, Liezl, Oliver, Lori, Florence, Carol, and Jomar) Cordoviz Family (Ross and Londyn), Gervais Family (Allen), and Villanueva Family (Berto, Fae, Jana, Elino, Vivian, Michael and Marvin). She will also be missed by her dear friends Linda, Mercy, Suzy, Bet, Let, Lucy, Nina, Rose, Perci, Nick, Paset, and Rosario. Visitations will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street on Saturday, January 12 and Sunday, January 13 from 6:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 14, 2008 in the St. Mary's Polish National Catholic Church, 361 Burrows Ave. with Very Rev. Msgr. Wesley Cwieka officiating. Interment to follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
