JO-ANN PATRICIA JOHNSON Peacefully on January 10, 2008 at the Lakeshore General Hospital, Jo-Ann Patricia Johnson, aged 66 years of Ashern, Manitoba. Jo-Ann was predeceased by her husband Eric Johnson, her parents Verna and Nelson Krienke, and her sister Myrna Peru. Surviving Jo-Ann is her son Ryan Johnson, daughter Bobbi-Jo (Roger) Juniper, two granddaughters, Jordyn Walsh and Brett Juniper (fiancé Cass Budge), special friend George Darling, along with a niece, nephews, and close friends. Jo-Ann was born in Claire, Saskatchewan on August 1, 1941. She met her husband Eric in British Columbia, where they were married and started a family. They later moved to Ashern, where they went into business, and also raised miniature horses. Jo-Ann was an active member of the local horse club for many, many years, and loved her animals dearly. Her family and pets were her life. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family gathering to celebrate Jo-Ann's life will take place at a later date. The family would like to express their thanks to the doctors and nurses at the Lakeshore General Hospital, as well as our local homecare providers.
