Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMAURICE ROADLEY Maurice Roadley (better known as Moe, Dad, and Grandpa) died peacefully on January 8, 2008 at The Grace Hospital. He was predeceased by his loving wife Marthe (Bouchard) in 1982. Left to cherish the memories of this kind, generous and jovial man are his brothers, Raymond, George (Rita), sister-in-law Josephte; children, Anne Grewar (Neil), Peter (Joanne), Philip (Patricia), Penny (John). He is also survived by grandchildren, Jenna, Emma, Camryn, Jasper, Jack, Logan and Owen as well as many nieces and nephews. He was born in England in 1926 and moved to the British community of Drummondville, PQ at a young age. In 1944, he joined the Canadian Armed Forces where he worked as an electrician. While overseas, he met Marthe. They were stationed in St. Hubert, PQ where they started their family. In 1970, they moved the family to Winnipeg. Dad loved life and lived it to the fullest. A celebration of Moe's life will be held on Monday, January 14, at 2:00 p.m. in Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Memorial contributions may be made to the Grace Hospital Foundation, 300 Booth Drive, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3J 3M7.
