KASMERA (CASEY) FOSTER (nee URBANOWICZ) 1926 - 2008 Peacefully on January 9, 2008, Casey passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital with her family at her side. She will be sadly missed by her husband of 60 years, James Foster, her son John (Donna), grandsons Robert (Carla), Jeff (Kandice), sister Halina Adey, sister-in-law Dulcie and Victor Anderson, niece Susan (Jeff) Bagg and nephew Mike (Debby) Adey. She was predeceased by loving daughter Patricia, her parents Dionizy (Bronislawa), brother Marjan, and sister Sophie. She will be remembered by many friends and relatives. She came to Canada with her parents at the age of three. Casey attended schools in the north end and started work at Wilson Stationary, Wartime Prices and Trade Board and later for Doctors Sigardson, Waugh and Domke. Many years were spent with family at Toniata Beach, holidaying in California, Las Vegas and Florida. She loved gardening, 5-pin bowling and tried her hand at skating and skiing. Cremation has taken place and as per her wishes there will be no services held. Interment will take place at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Ave., at a later date.
