Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryARTHUR HENRY TOWERS Peacefully, on December 17, 2007 at the Grace Hospital Arthur Henry Towers passed away at the age of 88. Art was born and educated in Brandon. He was employed by the Manitoba Power Commission (Manitoba Hydro) in 1939. He moved to the head office until his retirement in 1977, with the exception of serving overseas with the RCAF during the Second World War. He enjoyed spending the winters in California and British Columbia with his wife Ally. He was predeceased by his wife Ally in 1986 and a sister Mary R. Jones. Art is survived by one son Wayne, and one sister Daisy Brummond of Kamloops, BC. He is also survived by nieces and nephews in Winnipeg, British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario and California. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 17, at 2:00 p.m. in Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. with Rev. Dr. Terry Hidichuk officiating. Interment will follow in Thomson In the Park Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined, if friends so desire, donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
