ROGER ADOLPH After a lengthy fight with heart disease, Roger passed away quietly with his wife and son by his side on the morning of Thursday, January 10, 2008 at Ste. Anne Hospital. He was 71 years of age. He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife Joan; sons, Ron, Brian, (Mary Kirkwood and grandchildren, Sam and Ben) and Allan (Cheryl) and grandchildren, Kira and Tianna); brothers, Murray (Elizabeth), Don and sister Carolyn (Orville). Roger was born in McCreary, Manitoba and lived in Thompson, MB for the past 38 years before recently relocating to Ste. Anne, MB. As an addictions counselor and master fisherman Roger touched the lives of many people in the North. He will truly be missed by all who shared shore lunches and fish stories with him at his camp on Paint Lake. The family wishes to thank the staff of Ste. Anne Hospital for their kindness and professionalism in caring for Roger. Services will be held Monday, January 14 at Christ Lutheran Church in McCreary, MB at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, Suite 200-6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
