Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryOREST MICHAEL STOROZUK It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Orest Storozuk on Thursday, January 10, 2008 at his home with his family by his side. Orest was predeceased by his parents, Sophie and Michael Storozuk. Orest will be lovingly remembered by his wife Christina; daughter Connie Seidler (Garry), daughter Tanya Silva (Henry); his treasured grandchild Alora Seidler; sisters Luba (Borden); Sylvia; Vera (Larry); Nadia (Wayne); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Orest was born December 3, 1948 in Vita, MB, the youngest of five children. He was employed at CN Rail and VIA for 32 years, retiring in 2005. Orest enjoyed spending time at the cottage fishing, boating, blueberry and mushroom picking and most of all spending time with family and friends. Orest and Chris realized their dream of building and living in their lakefront retirement home in the spring of 2003 and were able to spend many wonderful years enjoying their surroundings. Prayers will take place Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral, 1175 Main St, Winnipeg, MB. Funeral services will take place Thursday, January 17, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Holy Trinity Orthodox Church Vita, 102 N. Main St., Vita, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Orest's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society Manitoba.
