ALEXANDER PHILLIP KACHKOWSKY February 22, 1939 January 11, 2008 On January 11, 2008, Alex, at the age of 68, peacefully passed away at home with his family by his side. Alex was a caring person who loved to be with his family and friends. He liked to putter around the house and enjoyed the outdoors. He loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren and was especially proud of his greatgranddaughter Sequoia and his Goddaughter Stacey. Alex leaves to mourn his loving wife, Dianne, daughters Laurie and Kelly, grandchildren, Janelle, Melissa and Ryan; great-granddaughter Sequoia; sister Patsy; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter Susan, mother Annie, father Alex, brothers Allen and Andy and a sister Dorothy. In keeping with Alex's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Tuesday January 15 at 1:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk. The family would like to thank Dr. Zoppa for going the extra mile, Kris and the home care ladies and the Selkirk Palliative Care staff. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
