WILLIAM JOSEPH WELTER, JR. William Joseph Welter, Jr., 57, of Duluth, suddenly went to be with the Lord on January 13, 2008. He passed away as a result of massive bleeding from a brain aneurysm. Some of his passions were, His Lord and Saviour, Christ Jesus, his family and friends, learning to play guitar, working in his yard, and caring for the amazing disabled folks that are entrusted to his and Donelda's care. He is preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Welter. Bill will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 30 years, Donelda; children, Kelly (Mike) Sheridan, Eddy Welter, Tricia (James) Voltzke, Crystal (Roger) Welter, and Maria (John) Welter; 12 grandchildren, Ashley, Brittany, Brianna, Mikayla, Stephen, Kaden, Ethan, Miyah, Alexis, Sophia (arriving soon), Emma, and Ella; father, William J. (Gail) Welter, Sr.; brothers, Ron, Gary, Steve, Randy, and Greg; sister, Gloria; many nieces, nephews and friends. He will also be missed by Marcum, Jeffrey, Vicki, and Doris. Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 18, 2008 at Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4100 Grand Ave., Duluth. Gathering of family and friends one hour before service. Services entrusted to Cremation Society of Minnesota, 218-624-5200. The family would like to extend a special thank you to St. Mary's Medical Center, especially to Dr. Callahan, Dr. Kang, and the caring hands of Curt Puttonen. We believe these people were hand picked by Our Father God to care for Bill.
