WAYNE HERMAN GEILER It is with great sadness that the family of Wayne Geiler announces his passing at Gimli Hospital, with family at his side, at the age of 63, on Saturday, January 12, 2008. He will be sadly missed by his wife Lee, sons Dwight, Darren, Derek and wife Charlene, and his grandson Luke, as well as his brother Vern and wife Maureen, many relatives and countless friends. Wayne was born in Winnipeg January 29, 1944, to Herman and Reneda Geiler. He married his loving wife Lee in 1968, and then had three sons. They lived in Brandon for 12 years then moved back to Winnipeg. Wayne worked for Pitney Bowes for 36 years in sales and service. He retired in 2003 then moved out to Matlock, MB, to enjoy his retirement outside of the city. He loved to spend time outdoors as the family spent most summers camping throughout Canada and the United States. Wayne loved to sit around by the fire and tell stories. He always had a good story or joke to tell. He knew how to keep a smile on everyone's face. Wayne was a very caring and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be very sadly missed by all. A celebration and remembrance of Wayne's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2008, at Wheeler Funeral Chapel, 211 Regent Ave. W. Reception to follow.
