JOHN DAVID AIRD It is with the deepest sadness that we announce the passing of John David Aird on January 5, 2008 at the age of 47 years old. John worked during his career for Robinson Little Company, Canada Safeway, Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, Manitoba Hydro and Manitoba Hydro Utilities Services. Left to mourn his passing is his wife of 25 years Diane, two sons Johnathan and Nathan, his daughter and husband and their three sons. Mother Rachel Aird, brother Garth Aird and family, uncles Bill Taggart and family, John Taggart and family aunt Marg (predeceased) and family, Raquel and George. Sisters-in-law, Carol Birch, Barbara Birch and Linda Birch and their families and father-in-law, Frank Birch. He was predeceased by his father Ian Aird and brother-in-law Allan Birch. A service of remembrance will be held on Friday, January 18, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. The family wishes to express its deepest gratitude to all the special people who touched John's life. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army. God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun without rain, but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way.
