LOUIS ADALSTEINN JOHNSON Peacefully on January 16, 2008 at the Arborg District Health Centre, with his family by his side, Louis Adalsteinn Johnson aged 73 passed away. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Maria, his children Brian (Lorna), Leo (Debbie) and Albert (Tami), grandchildren Terri (Warren), Jaci (Andy), Kristinn, Damien, Brett and Allynne, great-grandchildren Amy, Thomas and Matthew, brother Victor Johnson and sister Dorothy Stansell. He was predeceased by his parents Steinni and Helga. Louis was born April 5, 1934 in Arborg, Manitoba. Louis and Maria were married in 1956 and farmed in the Arborg area. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and some trapping. Most importantly he loved his family and enjoyed teasing his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In accordance with Louis' wishes cremation has taken place and there will no service. A family interment will be held at a later date. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the doctors and staff at the Arborg District Health Centre. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Arborg District Health Centre or the Canadian Cancer Society. MacKenzie Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
