ANNE TKACHYK (MICHANIUK) January 8, 1914 January 16, 2008 Peacefully at Golden West Centennial Lodge Anne (Annie) Tkachyk, widow of Jacob, passed away with Rosalie and staff at her side. Anne was born in Sarto, MB, youngest daughter of William and Rozalia Michaniuk. Anne and Jacob were married in 1933, and resided in Sarto, Dufrost and Winnipeg. Anne was predeceased by her parents; son-in-law Russell Halushka; sisters Anna Horbul, Mary Hoshowsky; brothers Joseph, Peter, Michael, Julian and Frank. Left to mourn her passing and cherish her memory is daughter Rosalie; nieces Anne McIntosh and Sister Pauline Michaniuk; sisters-in-law Olga Michaniuk, Sonia Tanas, Elena Sheppard, Fern Tkachyk of St. Pierre; loving nieces and nephews. Prayers will be said on Sunday, January 20 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 21 at 1:00 p.m. at Blessed John XXIII Roman Catholic Church, 3390 Portage Avenue with Rev. Msgr. Maurice Comeault, P.H. as Celebrant. Interment to follow in All Saints Cemetery. If so desired, donations may be made in Anne's memory to Golden West Centennial Lodge.
