LORRAINE EDNA ZAISER January 9, 1930 to January 16, 2008 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother after a courageous and dignified battle with cancer. Lorraine was born in Thalberg, Manitoba, the eldest of 11 children. Predeceased by her husband, Andrew, parents William and Linda, and sister, Geri. She is survived by her four loving children: Debbie Heras (John), Donna Weininger (Harry), Jocelyn Greiner (Patrick), and Ken Zaiser. Lorraine is also survived by ten grandchildren: George Heras (Lisa), Michael Heras (Beth), Jerry Heras, James Heras, Nicholas Heras, Steven Weininger, Jennifer Weininger, Colin Greiner, Andrew Greiner, and Melissa Greiner. Four great grandchildren: Ellanah, Alexxa, Kate, and John Heras. Lorraine is also survived by brothers and sisters: Elmer, Phyllis, Marge, Mildred, Carole, Annette, Roy, Bev, Don and many nieces and nephews. She was hardworking, respected, and admired by all who knew her and she will leave everlasting fond memories. Her absence will leave a void in our lives forever. Many heartfelt thanks to Dr. Beth Payne, Delta Home Support, and all the staff and volunteers at Crossroads Hospice. Funeral to be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2008, 11:30 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Coquitlam. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society and Crossroads Hospice would be gratefully appreciated.
