ISABEL KEAR Isabel Kear, daughter of the late Major W.G. Kear and the late Mrs. Isabel Kear, passed peacefully away in Nanaimo, British Columbia, on January 16, 2008, where a funeral service was held. She was a long time resident of Fort Osborne Barracks (Tuxedo), 221 Oak Street (River Heights), and finally Nanaimo BC. She had a life-time career in the Public Service of the Government of Canada. She was predeceased by her brother Douglas, her sister Willa, and will be missed by her sister Anne of Toronto, Ontario, brother Allen and wife Celine of Winnipeg, Manitoba, nieces Carol and Nikki in Nanaimo and many cousins in Toronto, Montreal and the United Kingdom. A private family interment will take place at St. John's Cathedral Anglican Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to St. John's Cathedral Anglican Cemetery, 135 Anderson Avenue.
