George will be fondly remembered and missed for his great sense of humour and way with words, his love of companionship, and his spirited outlook on life. He spent many wonderful summers at Bird Lake amongst his family and friends and in the winters enjoyed the sun and warmth in Englewood, Florida, with Minnie and Niki. Up until the time of his passing George was an active golfer, an avid reader, and an aficionado of his crosswords and sudoku. The family would like thank the medical and nursing staff of both the Grace Hospital Intensive Care Unit and medical units for their care and compassion during George's illness. A celebration of George's life will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2008, at 12:00 - 3:00 p.m., at the St. Charles Golf and Country Club, 100 Country Club Boulevard, St. James.
