OLIVE WILGOSH It is with great sadness, that the family announces the passing of Olive Wilgosh, on Friday, January 18, 2008 at the Beausejour District Hospital, Beausejour Manitoba, at the age of 82 years. Remaining to forever cherish Olive's memory are Diane (Ron) Burkowsky, Sheila (Roger) Kintop, Patti Drake and Jim Jackson as well as her 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband George of 53 years, daughter Darlen Jackson and son in law Cam Drake. Mom was the youngest of nine siblings, born to John and Donalda Pushka. She had a zest for life and her social calendar was always full. Mom loved playing whist, cribbage, bingo and the going on the occasional bus trip, but she always had time for family and friends. Prayers will be held on Tuesday evening, January 22 at 7:00 p.m. in St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 530 Atlantic Avenue, Beausejour, Manitoba. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 23 at 10:30 a.m. also in the Church, with Rev. Fr. Mark Drozniak presiding. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Roman Catholic Parish Cemetery. The family greatly appreciates the care given by the staff of the Beausejour District Hospital, N.E.H.A. support staff and also to Father Mark. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Olive's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
