MARY ELIZABETH REEVE (nee JUDD) Peacefully after a brief illness and with family, Mary Elizabeth Reeve passed away on Monday, January 21, 2008 at the Victoria General Hospital. Mary will be dearly missed and is survived by daughters Trish (Tom), Janet (Alan) and Barbara, her grandchildren Christine, Peter, Jessica, Steven and Nathan. She was the cherished only daughter of Frank and Mary Judd. She used to enjoy walking from Balmoral Hall to the Grill Room at Eaton's to meet her dear dad for lunch. She enjoyed skating at the Winter Club and became quite accomplished. Her summers were spent at the family cottage in Ponemah. She would hop on her bike and pick up fresh pickerel from the fisherman for a dollar. Mary Liz met and married Peter Reeve in her twentieth year. They moved to Toronto where Barbara and Trish were born. After a few years they moved back to Winnipeg and had a third daughter Janet. Mary Liz and Peter enjoyed travelling and the family spent many wonderful summers at Victoria Beach. When they moved back to Toronto, Mary Liz and Janet spent many happy hours shopping, dining and exploring the city. She loved fashion and was always beautifully dressed. She enjoyed working at two fine clothing stores in Yorkville, Ada Mackenzie's and Lola Leman's. In 1995 she moved to the Wellington in Winnipeg. Sadly she was faced with many health issues at this time in her life, but met these challenges with strength and determination. Mary Liz will be remembered for her grace and support and all of her wonderful stories. In compliance with her wishes a private service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary Liz's memory to the Children's Wish Foundation or the Humane Society. Arrangements entrusted to: Chapel Lawn Funeral Home 885-9715
